Facebook advertising becomes difficult for a small company when the work is scattered: the product photo is in one folder, the Page belongs to someone else and the owner is unsure what a campaign request will change. Playad helps bring the creative brief, connected Meta account work and later performance review into a conversation-led workflow. Start with the specific Facebook or Instagram use you intend, then confirm the account, business identity, destination and spending boundaries. A useful setup makes those decisions visible before you proceed. Connecting Meta, preparing an ad and seeing it deliver are separate stages to check.

What you can do

Work in the context of your Meta account

Select the team and brand, then use Connections to authorize the intended Meta account. Check the selected account and follow the displayed sync steps. Your Facebook Page and any relevant Instagram identity are part of the advertising context, not details to substitute casually. If another person created the account, resolve access through the appropriate platform setup before requesting work. A successful connection establishes access and data setup; it does not confirm that every action or placement you might request is supported.

Prepare creative and campaign work together

Describe the customer, product, offer and intended placement in Chat. Attach useful product media and ask for an image or video ad flow you can review. Once a resulting creation is suitable, its Launch action can open the ad workflow in Chat. Inspect which account, destination and budget the request will use. Meta campaign work is supported within the available operations and account permissions, but a general request should become a specific proposal rather than a promise that every Meta configuration will be available.

Investigate the results of connected ads

After data sync, open Ad Monitor for the brand and select the reporting dates. Review the relevant platform information and available campaign insights. Open a clickable entity to inspect its detail, or use Creative Performance to investigate a creative used in connected advertising. The dashboard can show more than one connected platform, so identify the Meta context before interpreting a number. Ask Chat a follow-up about the particular campaign, creative or measurement question you have inspected.

How it works

1. Prepare the business identity and destination

Confirm which Facebook Page and Meta ad account belong to this test. For intended Instagram use, check the relevant account identity as well. Review billing, permissions and platform setup with the Meta guide rather than assuming that a personal login supplies every business permission. Prepare a working destination and a truthful offer. If the ownership or access is unclear, resolve that question before giving a campaign request an account name that might refer to the wrong business.

2. Connect the account and finish sync setup

Select the correct brand, open Connections and choose the Meta provider shown under Ad Accounts. Complete the authorization flow and select the intended account. Follow Start Initial Sync with the historical period you need, then Set Daily Sync Schedule when prompted. Check the connection and sync state. An empty reporting view can simply mean that data is not available yet; it is not proof that a campaign failed or that account authorization must be repeated.

3. Create a placement-specific brief

Start New Chat with the product, customer, approved offer and intended Facebook or Instagram placement. Supply useful assets and ask about missing requirements. For an image or video request, review the proposed Flow Preview before continuing. Check the actual output for product accuracy, readable wording and suitability for the requested use. A saved plan is not a completed file, and a completed file is not a campaign. Follow the generation state and inspect the result before proceeding.

4. Review the campaign request in Chat

Use the selected creation's Launch action when available, or describe the campaign task directly in Chat. Confirm the Meta account, intended identity, objective, creative, destination and spending limit. Ask for a proposal you can inspect before changes. Follow the task's permission and confirmation controls, and check whether anything remains unresolved. Do not treat the Launch click or a recommendation as proof of execution. The useful output at this stage is a specific, understandable action with its account context.

5. Check execution, platform state and later results

Read the action result and any reported error or incomplete step before assuming success. Platform review, account restrictions or further setup can still affect delivery. Once relevant activity has synced, open Ad Monitor for matching dates and check platform freshness. Investigate a campaign or creative in its detail view before requesting a change. Keep the question narrow: for example, whether measurement is available or whether the message needs a revision. That is more useful than changing direction because an isolated number moved.

Using Playad: product screens

Start with a specific business request in Playad Chat. The displayed example has not been submitted. Actual Playad UI rendered with sample data; not a customer result.

Check the reporting dates and platform freshness in Ad Monitor after data sync. This overview includes sample data from multiple platforms, not a channel-specific campaign launch.

Example request

Help me prepare Facebook or Instagram ad work for my connected Meta account. Confirm the Page, intended placement, approved creative, destination and spending limit. Show the proposed campaign setup for review before making changes, and identify any missing requirements.

Example: a retailer preparing a Facebook or Instagram offer

Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result

Hypothetical brief: a small homeware retailer supplies a product photograph, confirmed offer and product-page destination. The owner identifies the Meta account and Page intended for the test.

Creative review: the owner requests a placement-specific image concept, inspects the proposed flow and checks the generated product depiction and wording before selecting the file for campaign work.

Campaign review: in Chat, they check the account, destination and spending proposal, then inspect the execution result and later reporting. This is an illustrative workflow, not a live customer campaign or a forecast of results.

Before you start

Meta account access, billing, platform review and current account restrictions can affect what work is available and whether an ad delivers.

A Meta connection does not imply every campaign configuration, placement or mutation is supported. Confirm the particular task and its requirements.

Generated media and offers need review. A file in Creations does not establish that it is running in an ad.

Performance views depend on completed sync, selected dates and relevant account activity. Missing data should not be treated as zero results.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start without a dedicated Facebook ads specialist?

You can begin with a business brief in Chat and work through a proposed creative or campaign task. Your company still supplies the offer, account context and spending decision. Use the available review steps rather than assuming software removes the need to understand what will run.

Is Instagram included in this workflow?

The workflow can cover intended Instagram advertising within supported Meta work. Specify the placement and relevant identity, and check the account and task requirements. Facebook and Instagram uses should not be treated as automatically identical configurations.

Does selecting Launch immediately create a running ad?

Launch starts an agent workflow using the selected creation. Continue in Chat to inspect the account, destination, budget and next steps, then verify the execution result. Platform state and delivery still need to be checked separately.

Why does the reporting screenshot show other platforms?

Ad Monitor is a connected-account overview for the selected brand and can contain more than one platform. Use the relevant Meta information and dates for this review. The illustrated screen uses sample data and is not evidence of a campaign launched for your company.

“We went from 20 hours a week making ads to one, and our ROAS still climbed from 1.5 to 2.34. Playad just does the work better than we did.”
