Analyze
Creative Performance Analysis
Review ad creative performance across connected accounts. Filter by status, platform, and analysis labels to find winners, fatigued ads, and creatives still in testing.
Trusted by 6,000+ marketers & founders
Creative Performance gives you a single place to review creatives used in your connected ad accounts. Once your account is connected and synced, you can filter by status, platform, and analysis labels such as Winner, Fatigued, or Testing, open any creative to inspect its connected ads and delivery context, then use Chat to plan a change. This workflow covers post-launch review, not pre-launch prediction.
What you can do
Review creative status
Open Creative Performance to see each creative's status and usage across connected ad accounts for the selected brand.
Filter by platform, status, and analysis label
Narrow the creative list using available filters for platform, status, or labels such as Winner, Fatigued, or Testing to focus your review.
Inspect creative detail and connected ads
Open any creative to see its detail view, the ads it is connected to, and the delivery and performance context for the current reporting period.
Check analysis labels before scaling or refreshing
Use labels as navigation aids. Review the underlying data and reporting period before deciding to scale a winning creative or refresh a fatigued one.
Ask Chat for a change based on what you find
After reviewing delivery and performance context in Creative Performance, open Chat and describe the adjustment you want to make to a creative or campaign.
How it works
1. Connect and sync your ad account
Open Connections, select your team and brand, choose the ad platform under Ad Accounts, complete authorization, and finish the initial sync before expecting data in Creative Performance.
2. Open Creative Performance
Select the correct team and brand, then open Creative Performance. Creatives from synced accounts appear here once data is available.
3. Apply filters to narrow your review
Use the status, platform, or analysis-label filters when available to focus on a specific subset of creatives, such as those labeled Fatigued or currently in Testing.
4. Open a creative and review its detail
Select a creative to open its detail view. Check the connected ads, delivery context, and the reporting period that the analysis covers.
5. Use Chat to plan your next action
After reviewing the creative's context, open Chat and describe the change you want, such as refreshing a fatigued creative or scaling a winner, with specific inputs about the product, audience, or message.
Using Playad: product screens
Example request
This video creative is labeled Fatigued in Creative Performance. Suggest a refreshed concept for returning customers using the same product footage but with a stronger limited-time offer.
Hypothetical example: reviewing a fatigued video creative
Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result
Input: A brand has three video creatives running on a connected ad account. The user opens Creative Performance, selects the brand, and filters by the Fatigued label. Two creatives appear in the filtered list.
Review: The user opens one of the Fatigued creatives and sees its connected ads, the reporting period used for the label, and delivery context. They note the headline and offer shown in the ad detail, then open Chat and type: 'This video creative is fatigued. Suggest a refreshed version with a stronger offer for returning customers, keeping the same product footage.'
Before you start
Creative Performance only shows creatives from accounts that are connected and have completed at least an initial sync in Connections.
A file saved in Creations does not automatically appear in Creative Performance. This view uses advertising data from connected, synced accounts.
Analysis labels such as Winner, Fatigued, and Testing reflect the data and reporting period available at the time of review; check the underlying data before acting.
If filters return no matches, clear them and confirm the correct brand is selected before concluding there is no data.
Creative Performance covers post-launch review of running ads; it does not provide pre-launch predictive scoring.
Analytics and MMP connections provide separate measurement sources and do not replace an ad account connection for creative performance data.
Frequently asked questions
Why are no creatives showing in Creative Performance?
Check Connections to confirm your ad account is connected and that the initial sync has completed. If the account has no ads to sync or no available data in the synced date range, there may be no creatives to display.
What does a Fatigued or Winner label mean?
Labels such as Winner, Fatigued, and Testing are analysis aids to help you navigate available data. Always check the underlying data and the reporting period shown in the creative detail before deciding to scale or refresh an ad.
I have a file in Creations. Why does it not appear in Creative Performance?
Creations holds output files you have generated. Creative Performance uses creatives and advertising data from connected, synced accounts. A generated file in Creations does not automatically appear in this view.
How do I connect an ad account so creative data appears?
Open Connections, select the team and brand, choose the provider under Ad Accounts, complete authorization, then complete the Start Initial Sync step. Data becomes available in Creative Performance after the sync finishes.
Can I use Chat after reviewing a creative in Creative Performance?
Yes. After reviewing a creative's delivery and performance context in Creative Performance, open Chat and describe the change you want to make, such as refreshing a fatigued ad or adjusting the offer for a specific audience.
