Create
AI Spokesperson Video Generator for Your Brand Message
Create a spokesperson video in Playad: choose a saved avatar, lock your script, review the storyboard, then produce a presenter-led video with approved voice and visual identity.
Trusted by 6,000+ marketers & founders
If your brand needs a presenter to deliver a specific, approved message on camera — a product explainer, a feature walkthrough, a neutral launch announcement — Playad lets you do that through Chat. You reference a saved avatar from your Avatars library, provide the exact script you want spoken, and guide voice, framing, and visual identity before any video is generated. A storyboard review step sits between your brief and final production, so you can inspect scene decisions, confirm the presenter and delivery direction, and only then approve the run. This workflow suits product communications that need a consistent on-screen voice rather than a customer testimonial or fictional narrative.
What you can do
Reference a saved presenter
Choose a saved presenter in Avatars and identify it clearly in your Chat brief. The selected image can serve as the shared appearance reference for presenter scenes. Review the prepared scene images against that source, then check the finished film for identity drift; a shared reference guides consistency rather than guaranteeing an identical face in every frame.
Supply exact spoken lines
Paste the approved wording and identify the speaker for each scene. Ask Chat to keep that text exact during speech preparation. Review the prepared takes and later listen to the final film: a correct written script does not prove the generated delivery contains every word or pronunciation you intended.
Control voice and delivery direction
Specify the language, tone, pace, and accent qualities you need. A suitable generated voice is selected and prepared as an audio asset during the storyboard phase. You can review the voice alongside the scene plan and request adjustments before production begins. Consistent voice settings are applied to the same speaker across all scenes.
Review a storyboard before any video is generated
Before Playad runs video generation, it presents a versioned storyboard that shows scene images, dialogue, on-screen text treatment, framing, and duration. You explicitly approve or request revisions. Only after you confirm does the production Flow run. This means you are checking the actual planned presenter appearance, script assignment, and visual layout — not reviewing a finished video after the fact.
Apply brand visual identity
Your selected team and brand context carry into the spokesperson video. On-screen text, product names, and any approved copy overlays are set in the storyboard plan and rendered into the video. Subtitle generation is handled as a separate step when requested, keeping advertising copy and caption tracks independent.
How it works
1. Find and confirm your presenter in Avatars
Open Avatars from the main navigation and select Library to see avatars saved to your team. Use search and filters to locate the presenter you want. If you need a new avatar, use Create from Scratch — but note that avatar creation is a separate process from producing the spokesperson video itself. Once you have confirmed which saved avatar to use, note its name for your Chat brief.
2. Start a new Chat and write your brief
Select your team and brand, then choose New Chat. Describe the video: name the saved presenter, paste the exact script, state the intended placement or aspect ratio, and describe the voice and delivery tone you need. The more precise your inputs — script, presenter reference, and desired duration — the closer the storyboard will match your intentions without additional rounds of revision.
3. Review and refine the proposed flow
Chat proposes a production plan and may ask clarifying questions about missing inputs. Open the flow card to review the Flow Preview before proceeding. At this stage you can ask Chat to adjust framing, change on-screen text treatment, or modify scene structure. No video generation has run yet; you are reviewing the plan.
4. Inspect the storyboard and approve or revise
Review the prepared storyboard: compare presenter appearance with the saved avatar, listen to available speech, and check dialogue, scene actions and visible copy. Request specific changes before approving the version intended for production. Preparing a still image does not verify motion, voice or lip sync; those also need review in the actual film.
5. Produce the approved video
After storyboard approval, continue through the production Flow with the accepted sources and the current permission controls. Monitor the run in Chat and wait for actual media results. Approval confirms the reviewed plan; it is separate from a successful generation and final inspection.
6. Find, review, and use the result in Creations
Find completed media in Creations for the selected brand and watch it with sound. Compare the words, pronunciation, lip sync, presenter identity and scene order against the storyboard. For a correction, identify the affected scene and desired change in Chat. The scope can include dependent scenes or a shared generation unit; review the revised plan and output rather than assuming only a few frames changed.
Using Playad: product screens
Example request
Use my saved avatar to explain our refillable desk bottle. Exact script: “Meet a refillable bottle for your workday. Open, fill, and keep it close.” Use the attached real product photo. Propose a natural delivery and let me review the presenter, voice and storyboard before final video production.
Hypothetical example: desk water bottle explainer
Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result
Input: A hypothetical bottle brand chooses a saved presenter, supplies a real product photo and provides the approved script from the example request. It asks for a neutral product explanation rather than a customer review.
Preparation: The brand checks the presenter reference, a product detail shot and the proposed ending. It listens to prepared speech and confirms that visible copy matches its actual product information. Unnecessary overlays can be removed during this review.
Production: After approving the prepared storyboard, the brand follows the production controls and waits for the returned video. This example describes a possible workflow; no such film was generated for this guide.
Final review: Watch with sound and compare the spoken lines, product appearance and presenter with the approved sources. Check lip sync at normal speed and listen for changed words. Resolve material defects before using the film.
Before you start
Lip sync quality depends on model capabilities for the selected generation method and cannot be guaranteed to match every word precisely in all cases. Review the finished video against your approved script before use.
The presenter in the output reflects the saved avatar image and the generation model's interpretation. Visual consistency across scenes is supported by carrying the same identity source through production, but exact pixel-level replication of the avatar in every frame is not guaranteed.
A presenter image establishes appearance, not a particular person’s voice. Select an available voice and listen to the prepared take rather than assuming the result reproduces the voice of the person in a photo.
Storyboard approval confirms the plan and prepared assets. Check the run and returned media separately to establish that production completed.
Custom avatar creation is subject to your team's plan limits. If the limit is reached, Create from Scratch opens the upgrade flow. Check your limit before starting avatar creation.
Projects and the Flow Editor are available on desktop only. Chat-based spokesperson video creation is the recommended starting point on all surfaces.
Frequently asked questions
How is a spokesperson video different from creating a new avatar?
Avatar creation is a setup step in Avatars where you build or save a reusable presenter. A spokesperson video is a finished production that uses a saved avatar to deliver a specific script. You complete avatar creation first, then reference that presenter in Chat when you want to produce the video. The two workflows are separate: one builds the presenter, the other uses it in a scripted video.
Where do I find the finished spokesperson video after production?
Look in Creations for the selected team and brand. Open the video preview and watch with sound. If it is missing, clear restrictive filters and check the original conversation for generation progress or a failure. Use Projects to reopen associated editable work when available.
Can I change the script or presenter after I have approved the storyboard?
Yes. Identify the change in the original Chat conversation and review a revised plan where needed. A presenter change can affect multiple scenes; script or speech changes can affect timing and shared production units. Inspect the new storyboard and actual output before using the revised film.
Is this workflow suitable for customer testimonial-style videos?
You can describe the style you need, but the example here is a presenter explaining a product. A synthetic presenter is not evidence of a real customer experience. Keep the message grounded in supplied product facts and make the intended style clear in the brief.
