Playad generates ad headlines and body copy for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads directly inside Chat. Each draft draws on your saved Brand profile—tone of voice, audience, and key messages—so copy fits your brand from the first output. You describe the product, placement, and goal; Playad writes copy within the character limits for the chosen network and attaches it to your creative as a finished Creation.

What you can do

Copy tailored to the placement

Specify the ad network and placement in your brief so Playad can draft headlines and body copy to the relevant length targets. Check the final copy and character counts during campaign setup.

Brand voice from your Brand profile

Copy pulls tone of voice, positioning, selling points, and audience from the Brand page. Update your brand knowledge card before requesting copy to reflect a new product, offer, or market.

Headline and body in one request

A single Chat message produces a headline and body copy together. Alternate angles and longer rationale are placed in value-proposition and notes fields, keeping the main copy clean and platform-ready.

Copy attached to image and video Creations

When copy is generated alongside an image or video ad inside a Flow, Playad attaches the approved headline and body to each Creation automatically. Each creative concept keeps its own copy.

Revision in conversation

Refer to a specific result in the same Chat thread and describe the change—shorten the headline, strengthen the offer, or shift the tone. Playad revises only what you specify and keeps the rest fixed.

Multi-language copy

Request copy in a target language in Chat. For image ads, Playad can localize visible on-image text and platform ad copy together in one edit step, preserving layout and brand elements.

How it works

1. Set up your Brand profile

Open the Brand page, confirm the correct team and brand are selected, and review the brand knowledge, audience, and tone-of-voice cards. Add or update any missing selling points or market details before generating copy. Clear source material produces more on-brand first drafts.

2. Start a new Chat

Choose New Chat in the sidebar. Describe the ad: product or offer, target audience, placement or network, and the main message you want to land. Attach a product image or reference if you are also creating a visual. The more specific the brief, the fewer follow-up questions Playad needs to ask.

3. Review the proposed copy

Read the proposed headline and body against your brief, product facts and brand voice. Review any permission request shown; action approval is separate from checking the quality and accuracy of the copy.

4. Revise in the same thread

Type a follow-up in the same Chat conversation referencing the specific result—for example, 'Shorten the headline and make the offer more direct.' Playad updates only what you describe. For a new objective, start a new Chat to keep context separate.

5. Check copy attached to Creations

Open Creations for the selected brand and review the copy attached to each generated asset. Refer to the result in Chat if the headline, body or angle needs another revision.

Example request

Write Meta Ads copy for a limited-time free-trial offer on our project management app, targeting small business owners. Tone should be direct and encouraging. Include a headline and body.

Hypothetical example: introductory skincare offer

Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result

Input in Chat: 'Write Google Ads copy for a new vitamin C serum aimed at adults 25–40 who want visible results quickly. Highlight a 20% introductory discount. Brand tone is confident and approachable.'

Playad returns a 28-character headline such as 'Brighter Skin in Two Weeks' and an 88-character body such as 'Try our vitamin C serum with 20% off your first order. Dermatologist-tested, fast results.' The copy fits Google Ads limits and is attached to the Creation for review. All outputs require human review before use.

Before you start

Copy must be reviewed and approved by a human before use in a live campaign. Playad does not guarantee copy accuracy, regulatory compliance, or advertising-policy approval.

Platform ad copy excludes URLs, tracking parameters, CTA button labels, and text already baked into an image—those are handled separately by the ad network or image prompt.

For TikTok briefs, Playad's writing guidance keeps links, mentions and hashtags out of generated platform copy. Review how the text should be used in your final ad setup.

Character counts can depend on the writing system and placement. Review full-width text and the final platform fields before using the copy.

Copy quality depends on the brand knowledge, audience, and selling-point detail saved in the Brand profile. Sparse brand information produces more generic first drafts.

Generating ad copy is a drafting step. Review the final text and creative, then follow the campaign setup and approval workflow before using it in a live ad.

Frequently asked questions

Which ad networks does the copy generator support?

Playad includes writing guidance for Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads. Specify the network, placement and required format in your brief, then review the generated text against the final ad setup.

Where does Playad get the brand voice for the copy?

It reads tone of voice, positioning, key messages, and audience from the Brand page. Open Brand, check the brand knowledge and audience cards, and update them before requesting copy to reflect your current product or campaign.

Can I generate copy without creating an image ad?

Yes. In Chat, describe the product, placement, and message and ask for copy on its own. You do not need to attach an image or start a Flow to get a headline and body draft.

How do I revise a headline without rewriting the whole ad?

In the same Chat thread, refer to the result and describe only the change you want—for example, 'Shorten the headline to under 25 characters.' Playad updates that field and keeps the rest of the copy fixed.

Does generated copy go live automatically?

No. Generating headlines or body copy is separate from approving campaign actions. Review the text and creative and confirm the intended account, placement and campaign setup before using it.

Can Playad write copy in languages other than English?

Yes. Specify the target language in your Chat request. For image ads, a localization edit can translate both visible on-image text and platform copy at the same time. Check that your Brand profile includes the correct markets and languages for the target region.

“We went from 20 hours a week making ads to one, and our ROAS still climbed from 1.5 to 2.34. Playad just does the work better than we did.”
