Faceless AI Video Generator
Create an ad without an on-camera presenter. Plan product shots, off-screen narration and visible copy, then review the storyboard in Playad.

You do not need a talking avatar in every video. A faceless video can tell its story through product close-ups, an environment, purposeful actions and optional off-screen narration. Start in Playad Chat and explicitly ask for no on-camera presenter. Supply the real product assets, describe what the viewer should see and decide separately whether the film needs speech, music and subtitles. This is a creation workflow, not an automatic channel builder or a promise to produce viral clips.
What you can do
Replace the presenter with a visual sequence
Give each scene a job: establish the situation, show the product in use, then leave a clear ending. A frame of a bottle on a desk can establish context; an opening action can explain use. Avoid filling the film with unrelated scenery simply because it has no face. The viewer should still understand one coherent message.
Choose narration rather than assuming it
Ask for off-screen narration when words add something the images cannot explain. Provide approved lines and a delivery direction. If the scene is stronger with only natural sound or music, say so. Speech, background music, visible ad copy and subtitles are separate decisions and should not be bundled into the brief by implication.
Keep product identity grounded
Attach authentic packaging or interface references and say what must remain accurate. Decide whether any hands are allowed: faceless can mean no visible face while still showing a person using the item. If you want product-only frames with no people at all, state that stronger requirement explicitly.
Inspect prepared scenes and the finished film
Review scene images and available speech in the storyboard, then watch the produced media. The first review checks intended visual coverage; the second checks motion, words, pacing and the absence of an unwanted presenter. A prepared voice take does not prove the final generated narration matches it exactly.
How it works
1. Write a specific no-presenter brief
In New Chat, select your brand and name the product, audience, format and message. Say “no on-camera presenter” and whether hands or other people are acceptable. Attach your assets and name the types of shots you need. This is more actionable than asking for a faceless video without a story.
2. Separate the sound choices
Specify speech, music and ambient sound independently. For narration, provide exact approved words and a natural delivery direction. For silence, say that explicitly. Decide whether subtitles should transcribe speech and whether separate visible advertising copy is needed. Neither replaces the other.
3. Review the prepared storyboard
Check that the planned scenes carry the message without a face explaining it. Review authentic product details, scene order, any screen copy and available speech. Request changes before approving the prepared version. If an essential view is missing, resolve it before final video production.
4. Inspect the returned video
Watch the whole sequence with sound. Look for faces that were not requested, changed product details, disconnected actions and an unclear ending. Listen for extra narration or duplicate speech. Compare the actual film with the intended scene sequence rather than judging only its first frame.
5. Revise in the original context
Reference the affected scene and state what should change and what should stay. Review any updated storyboard and final media. Find completed outputs in Creations and associated editable work in Projects on desktop. Creating this film is separate from scheduling social posts or launching an ad.
Using Playad: product screens
Example request
Create a faceless product video using our bottle references. No on-camera presenter; hands are allowed for the refill action. Use off-screen narration only if needed. Review the scenes and sound plan with me first.
Worked example: a presenter-free desk routine
Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result
Input: A hypothetical homeware brand supplies photos of its refillable bottle and a plain desk setting. It asks for product-only shots, a refill action and no visible face.
Sound: The brand chooses a short off-screen line, “A place for your next refill,” and no music. Subtitle preference is specified separately. There is no invented customer review or personal experience.
Storyboard review: Check that the refill is covered and the ending returns to a recognizable product. If hands are needed, confirm they are permitted before producing that scene.
Video review: Verify the actual face-free composition, product accuracy and audible words. These are hypothetical planning choices; no output or audience response is asserted.
Before you start
No-presenter direction does not verify that every generated frame follows it; inspect the actual film.
Available motion and audio options depend on the selected generation method. Resolve the current supported settings in the plan.
This workflow creates media. Channel automation, publishing schedules and audience performance require separate decisions.
Frequently asked questions
Does faceless mean silent?
No. A film can have off-screen narration, music or environmental sound without an on-camera presenter. Specify each sound component and review the result with audio on.
Can hands appear in a faceless video?
Yes, if that is your intended direction. State whether hands and other people may appear, or whether every scene should be product-only. The distinction matters when demonstrating an action.
Do I need to create an avatar?
An avatar is unnecessary for a brief with no presenter. Supply the product and scene references relevant to the film instead. If the plan introduces an unwanted presenter, revise it before production.
