You know what your business sells, but that does not mean you know how to arrange an ad. Playad lets you begin with a plain-language request, a real product photo and the message you want a customer to understand. Chat proposes the creation work, and you review it before generating the image. Your role is to check whether the product, offer and wording are right. You can request a concrete change without first learning a professional design application.

What you can do

Describe the business instead of a design technique

Tell Chat what you sell, who the ad is for and what they should understand. Explain the placement if you know it, or ask what information is needed to choose one. A request such as 'show the notebook clearly and keep the message short' is a useful starting point. You do not have to invent camera or layout terminology.

Use the real product as the reference

Provide an actual photo and authentic logo where available. Say which details must remain accurate, such as the cover, packaging or product name. Those references guide creation, but you still need to compare the output with them. A beautifully arranged image that changes the item is not ready to use.

Ask for changes you can see

After opening a generated result, name the specific problem: the headline is hard to read, the product is too small or the background competes with the offer. Say what should stay the same. Chat can help revise the image through the supported creation workflow. Inspect the new version instead of assuming that a requested correction preserved everything else.

Find and review the finished file

Completed media is available in Creations for the same brand. Open it and download the actual file when available. Projects on desktop holds associated editable work, which is different from an exported image. Request another size from an accepted version when needed, then check that the message and product still fit.

How it works

1. Bring the minimum useful inputs

Open New Chat for your brand. Name the product, customer and one truthful reason to consider it. Attach the photo you want used and supply exact approved offer wording if there is a promotion. If you do not have a suitable image, say so before asking for a product-specific result.

2. Review the plan in ordinary language

When Chat returns a flow card, open its preview. A Flow is the plan for creating the result; it is not the finished ad. Check the reference, wording, requested output and number of concepts. Ask questions or simplify the plan before proceeding through its generation controls.

3. Use a practical owner review

Open the generated image and check the real product, spelling and offer. Read the main line at a small viewing size. Ask whether the customer would understand what is being offered without hearing your explanation. Request a specific correction if any essential element is unclear or inaccurate.

4. Download the version you checked

Find the result in Creations and inspect the actual downloaded file. Check its dimensions and preview it in the intended advertising placement. Creating an image does not submit or launch an ad. Decide the destination, account and spending settings separately when you are ready to use it.

Using Playad: product screens

Start in Chat with a plain-language request from a business owner working alone. Example text only; it has not been submitted and no ad has been generated. Actual Playad UI rendered with sample data; not a customer result.

Example request

I own a small notebook business and I am not a designer. Help me create one simple image ad using the real product photo I provide. Keep the notebook accurate and the approved message easy to read. Explain what I should check in the proposed Flow and in the finished image. Do not launch ads.

Worked example: a handmade notebook

Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result

Input: A hypothetical solo owner supplies a clear notebook photo and one approved message about its intended use. There is no promotion, so the brief includes no discount or deadline.

Review: The owner likes the direction but finds the notebook too small. They ask to make it the main subject while keeping the original binding and approved wording. They then inspect the revised product details and text.

Handoff: The owner downloads the reviewed image and checks it in the intended placement. These are illustrative production decisions, not evidence that the ad has run or delivered sales.

Before you start

Plain-language creation reduces the need to operate design controls, but it does not remove the need to review the result. Generated images can change product details, logos or text.

An image ad is a media file. It does not include a verified campaign, clickable controls inside the picture or automatic approval from an advertising platform.

Available generation and editing options depend on the current tool and model. Ask for the actual output you need and check the exported file, especially after adapting it to a new size.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to start with a template?

No. The recommended starting point is Chat with the product, customer, message and references. Review the creation plan it proposes. This workflow does not require you to choose a dedicated template or know professional design vocabulary first.

What if I do not know what the ad should say?

Describe the product and the customer question it answers. Ask for message options based only on those facts, then choose and approve the wording before image production. Do not let an attractive phrase introduce a benefit or promise your business cannot support.

Can I change just the headline?

Request that exact change and identify the image or accepted version. State what should remain fixed and review the revised output, including product appearance and spelling. A small requested change can still require a fresh check of the resulting image.

Do I need to connect an ad account?

You can plan and generate the creative without an advertising connection. Live campaign data and account-dependent actions require the relevant connection. Keep accepting the image separate from authorizing its use in a paid campaign.

“We went from 20 hours a week making ads to one, and our ROAS still climbed from 1.5 to 2.34. Playad just does the work better than we did.”
