Batch ad creation is useful when you know which differences you want to explore and need several reviewable creatives from one clear brief. Start in Playad Chat with the product, audience, placements and a concrete list of variants. A Flow can contain distinct image concepts, and separate video variants keep their own plans and review. The goal is an organized set of outputs whose differences you can understand, not a large pile of near-identical files or a claim that every combination will automatically improve performance.

What you can do

Define a manageable variant matrix

Choose the variable you want to change: the opening message, a scene setting or the visual concept. Keep unrelated dimensions stable where that helps comparison. Separate different concepts from simple size adaptations. Writing the intended output list first makes a missing version or accidental extra change easier to spot.

Share authentic source material

Use the same approved product references, logo and relevant brand facts across variants. Say which parts must remain accurate and which may vary. For a different product or offer, provide the appropriate source instead of asking the model to improvise it. Shared references guide consistency, but each result still requires review.

Keep each deliverable identifiable

Give the concepts useful names in the brief and check how the plan maps to actual outputs. Images can use a Flow with distinct concepts; requested video variants are planned separately before scene production. Do not assume a single approval or a batch label means every requested film has completed.

Review before comparing performance

Inspect text, product identity, format and the intended variable in every result. Correct a creative that changes the wrong element before including it in a campaign comparison. Production creates candidate media; campaign setup, delivery conditions and the interpretation of results are separate tasks.

How it works

1. Write the output list in Chat

Select the brand and describe the product and audience. List each concept with its intended difference and name the placements or dimensions you actually need. For example, request two distinct headline approaches on the same accepted product composition rather than asking for an undefined batch of ads.

2. Confirm fixed and variable elements

Identify the exact product, logo, approved facts and copy that must stay consistent. State which headline, scene or angle may change. If one target requires a different aspect ratio or language, mark it as a separate deliverable rather than burying that difference inside a concept label.

3. Review the production plan

Open the proposed Flow and match planned work to the requested list. For video variants, review the relevant storyboards before production. Check missing references and unexpected work before continuing through the current run controls. A saved plan is not evidence that its outputs already exist.

4. Inspect every returned creative

Compare each result with the brief and source assets. Check spelling, product details, dimensions and whether the intended variable actually changed. Avoid reviewing only the first output and accepting the rest on its strength. Identify a defective variant by its result and requested change in the original conversation.

5. Use the accepted set for a defined next step

Find completed media in Creations and associated editable work in Projects on desktop. Keep a clear mapping from concept to the files you reviewed. If you continue into campaign testing, specify the intended comparison and account setup separately; this production workflow does not establish a statistically valid experiment by itself.

Example request

Create two image-ad concepts for our bottle from the same real product references. One focuses on the refill routine, the other on a desk setting. Keep the product and logo accurate, list the outputs, and let me review the plan before generation.

Worked example: two headline directions for one product image

Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result

Input: A hypothetical bottle brand supplies an approved product composition and requests two image variants: one about the refill routine and one about keeping the bottle on the work desk.

Fixed elements: The actual bottle, logo, color treatment and target dimensions stay consistent. Each headline must use only the brand’s approved product information.

Review: Compare both images with the source and check that only the intended messaging direction changed. If the second output invents different packaging, correct it before considering a campaign test.

Next step: Keep the accepted versions identifiable and plan campaign evaluation separately. This example is a production checklist, not a batch-size promise or a claim about which headline will win.

Before you start

Batch size, settings and cost depend on the current requested work. Review the scoped plan rather than assuming unlimited generation.

Every output needs inspection. A shared source does not guarantee identical product detail or correct wording in all variants.

Creating variants is separate from running and evaluating a campaign experiment. Do not interpret production order or a preview as a performance ranking.

Frequently asked questions

Is a size variant a new concept?

Usually it is an adaptation of an accepted concept to another canvas. Keep those deliverables separate in your list so you know whether you are reviewing a new idea or the same idea in another format.

Can image and video requests use one brief?

You can describe the whole requirement, but the production plans differ. Review image concepts and the relevant video storyboards, and verify actual completed outputs for each requested deliverable.

How can I make the batch easier to evaluate?

State the question, change a clear creative variable and keep unrelated elements stable where possible. Inspect source accuracy first. Later campaign results also depend on delivery and measurement conditions, so define those separately.

“We went from 20 hours a week making ads to one, and our ROAS still climbed from 1.5 to 2.34. Playad just does the work better than we did.”
