AI Voice Generator
Turn approved text into a voice take in Playad Chat. Choose a voice, review pronunciation and delivery, and reuse the accepted audio in a video plan.

Use an AI voice generator when the words are approved but you still need to hear how they will sound. Playad supports text-to-speech audio generation: start in Chat with the exact script, requested language and delivery direction, then resolve an available voice and review the actual take. You can ask for speech as the deliverable or use an accepted take during video preparation. This is different from creating a presenter image or writing the ad script itself.
What you can do
Generate from exact approved words
Provide only the words that should be spoken and put production direction outside the script. Mark product names, abbreviations and any pronunciation concern. Do not ask the voice to improvise unsupported benefits. A faithful script is the starting point, but the generated audio still needs a complete listen.
Select an available voice and delivery
Describe the tone, language, pace and relevant voice qualities, then choose from the options available to the current workflow. A broad direction such as calm and conversational is more useful than assuming that a particular named person can be replicated. Listen to the selected voice before committing to a longer production.
Revise speech before dependent video
If a phrase sounds rushed, awkward or unclear, revise that speech take before using it in a film. Script, voice and pace can affect the measured duration. During storyboard production, review the speech alongside the intended scene so the pictures do not depend on an unrealistic timing estimate.
Use audio as a source with a clear role
An accepted take may guide a generated performance or be used as the exact recording in a composition. These are different requests. If the original recording must remain unchanged in the final film, say so explicitly; matching a voice reference during generation does not establish identical audio.
How it works
1. Start with a speech-only request
Select the brand and open Chat. Supply the final wording and state that you want an audio take first, with no presenter or video production yet. Specify the language and the intended context, such as a short product narration. This keeps voice review separate from a broader media request.
2. Resolve voice and pronunciation
Review the available voice choice and clarify names, numbers or terms that could be ambiguous. Give a pace and tone suitable for the actual message. Ask for another take when the delivery changes the meaning or emphasis. Avoid using a numerical duration target as proof that the spoken words will fit.
3. Listen to the entire returned take
Check that every approved word is present, in order and intelligible. Listen for unintended speech, odd pauses and a rushed ending. Review on the type of speaker or headphones relevant to your audience when useful. A visible script or audio-result card alone does not verify the sound.
4. Make a focused revision
Identify the line and the problem, such as an unclear product name or an overly forceful ending. Keep accepted wording and voice direction when those should remain stable. Review the replacement take in full. If it feeds a storyboard, update the timing before approving dependent video work.
5. Continue only with the accepted version
Use the reviewed audio result from the conversation or relevant media output. If continuing into video, tell Chat whether the take should guide a new performance or be heard unchanged under the visuals. Review both the prepared storyboard and the final film, because a correct standalone take does not prove the final mix is correct.
Using Playad: product screens
Example request
Generate an English voice take for this exact script: “Make room for a refill. Open, fill, and keep it close.” Use a calm, natural delivery. Let me review the audio before creating any video.
Worked example: a calm product narration
Illustrative example — not a product screenshot or customer result
Input: A hypothetical bottle brand approves “Make room for a refill. Open, fill, and keep it close.” It requests an English speech take with a calm, clear delivery and no additional words.
Voice review: The team resolves an available voice and listens to the whole take. It checks that “refill” and the final phrase are clear without artificially stretching pauses.
Revision: If the ending sounds rushed, the team requests a more natural delivery of that line and listens again. It does not infer the final duration from the script’s word count.
Handoff to video: The team can later request product shots with that recording unchanged. This is an illustrative workflow, not a voice sample or a completed audio generation.
Before you start
An image reference establishes appearance, not the voice of the person pictured. Resolve an available voice rather than assuming voice cloning.
Supported voices, languages and tuning depend on the current audio workflow. Review the actual available choice.
Changes to speech can change timing. Review dependent storyboard and video outputs again after a voice revision.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a script-writing tool?
The main input is approved text and the main result is a speech take. If you need help writing the words, ask for a text draft first and review its facts before requesting audio.
Do I need an avatar to generate speech?
No presenter image is needed for a speech-only request. An avatar becomes relevant if you later want an on-camera performance; off-screen narration can also be used without a presenter.
Will the final video contain the exact same audio?
Specify that requirement. A reference-guided generated voice performance and a composition using the unchanged recording are different routes. Listen to the final output to confirm which result you received.
